Frequently asked questions
Which metadata can it read?
Standard EXIF and GPS blocks: dimensions, make, model, lens, aperture, ISO, exposure, focal length, date, orientation, coordinates, software and color space, when present.
Why does my photo show nothing?
Many apps (WhatsApp, social networks) strip metadata when compressing. Photos straight from a camera or phone do carry them.
Can I remove what I see?
Yes: we have tools to remove all metadata, only the location, or only the camera data.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything is processed on your device; for metadata and privacy this matters most, which is why it is guaranteed by design.
