Frequently asked questions
Can I edit the text that already exists in the PDF?
For now you can add new text, cover it or highlight it, but not directly modify the original text. That's a technical limitation of fully in-browser editing that we're working to solve.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens inside your browser. Close the tab and no copy exists anywhere.
What can I add to the PDF?
Text (size, color, bold, italic, underline), images, signatures, freehand drawings, highlights, rectangles, ellipses, lines, arrows and links.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The editor has a touch-first interface with a bottom toolbar and gestures to move and resize elements.
Is there any cost or document limit?
No. It's free, with no sign-up, and you can edit as many PDFs as you want.
