Frequently asked questions
What if the PDF has no tables?
The text of each page is written in rows, splitting columns by position, so you still get something useful to work with. The result tells you when this happened.
Does it read scanned PDFs?
Yes: pages without a text layer go through local text recognition first. Precision depends on the scan quality.
Why is a table split or merged wrongly?
Tables without borders are inferred from column alignment. Very irregular layouts can confuse that. Try the PDF to Word tool for those pages, or copy the table from the sheet and fix it.
Is anything uploaded?
