Stretches each channel levels between its 1-99 percentiles (recovers contrast and mild casts) and applies a moderate unsharp mask. Nothing else.
Does it use AI?
No, and we say it clearly: it is deterministic classic processing. AI enhancements (denoise, restoration) are on the roadmap.
Can it make my photo worse?
On already well-contrasted photos the change is minimal. Compare and decide: the original is untouched.
