Does it work on any background?
It works very well when the text sits on uniform backgrounds or soft textures. If the text covers complex detail (faces, patterns), the fill will be approximate.
Is this OCR? Does it extract the text?
No: this tool visually ERASES the text. If you want to extract text from an image, use our image-to-text (OCR) tool.
Can I repeat over the same area?
Yes, you can apply as many passes as you want and undo the last one if it does not convince you.
Is the image uploaded?
No: the erase is computed in your browser and the image never leaves your device.
