Frequently asked questions
Does it work with any PDF?
With any PDF that has a real AcroForm. If the "form" is just a scan, there are no fields: type over it with the editor or add fields with the form creator.
What does flattening do?
It converts the filled fields into fixed PDF content. It looks the same but can no longer be edited: perfect for submitting.
Are existing values preserved?
Yes, fields show their current values and you only change what you want.
Does it support XFA forms?
No. XFA forms (a legacy Adobe technology) are not supported; standard AcroForms, which are the vast majority, are.
