Frequently asked questions
Is the resulting form standard?
Yes, these are native PDF AcroForm fields: fillable in Adobe Acrobat, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, macOS Preview and most mobile apps.
How does the date field work?
It is a text field intended for dates (you can hint the format in its name, e.g. date_dd_mm_yyyy). Readers with date support can add validation to it.
Can I add fields to a PDF that already has a form?
Yes, new fields are added to the existing ones. Duplicate names are renamed automatically.
Can I move a field after placing it?
Yes: drag it on the page, or adjust its width and height in the side panel. You can also delete it.
