Your files never leave your device
How to convert Excel to PDF
- 1
Drop your .xlsx file
The conversion starts on its own; .xlsm works too.
- 2
Each sheet, paginated like in Excel
Orientation, margins, scaling or fit-to-page, print area and repeated title rows are respected.
- 3
Download the PDF
If a sheet is very wide, you can fit it to the page width or add gridlines from the result.
Why use this tool
Like printing from Excel
Each sheet's page setup rules: size, orientation, margins, scaling, print area, page breaks and headers.
Faithful cell formats
Numbers, currencies, percentages, dates and times appear as they do in Excel; fills, borders, merged cells and wrapped text too.
All sheets, in order
One PDF with the workbook's visible sheets and continuous page numbering.
Private and free
The file never leaves your device and nothing is charged.
Frequently asked questions
Will it look the same as in Excel?
Very close: same pagination, formats and colors. Fonts are replaced by the standard PDF ones (Helvetica, Times, Courier), so a word may take slightly more or less room.
What about charts?
Charts and drawn shapes are not included yet; the result tells you if the workbook had any. Inserted pictures are included.
Can I convert just one sheet?
All visible sheets are converted. To get only one, hide the others in Excel or set a print area: both are respected.
What about old .xls files?
Only .xlsx and .xlsm for now. Open the .xls in Excel and save it as .xlsx.
Is my spreadsheet uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser, start to finish.
