Frequently asked questions
Does it decompress the archive?
No: it only reads the internal index. That is why it is instant and uses no memory.
Does it work with protected archives?
It can list encrypted RAR/7Z as long as the file names are not encrypted (the content is not decrypted). If the archive encrypts names too, it cannot be opened.
What are the limits?
Up to 250 MB per archive and 5,000 listed entries: plenty for normal use and safe for your browser.
