Frequently asked questions

Will the subtitles be synced to my video?

Not exactly: times are estimated from each sentence length starting at second 0. It is a draft to adjust in Aegisub, Subtitle Edit or your video editor.

How is each duration calculated?

Around 15 characters per second, with a minimum of 1.5 s and a maximum of 7 s per cue, plus a small gap between cues.

Can I put two lines in the same subtitle?

In this version each TXT line is an independent cue. Join sentences into one line if you want them together.

Do empty lines count?

No, they are ignored: only lines with text generate subtitles.
