Repair a damaged PDF
We rebuild the file's structure; when that's impossible, we rescue what's visible.
Your files never leave your device

Why use this tool
Two strategies
Lossless first; image rescue only as a last resort.

Broken reference tables, truncated endings and invalid objects are tolerated.

Frequently asked questions
Can it repair any PDF?
No. If the page data is physically gone, there's nothing to rebuild. We repair what's repairable and tell you the truth about the rest.
What is the "visual rescue"?
When the structure can't be rebuilt, we render the pages that can still be interpreted and save them as images in a new PDF.
Why did my PDF get corrupted?
Interrupted downloads, USB drives pulled mid-write, truncated attachments or software generating defective PDFs are the usual causes.
Does the repaired PDF keep its text?
If the repair was structural, yes. If it was a visual rescue, pages are images.
